Oversabi TV is an entertainment channel that cuts across areas of educating and showcasing talents of Cameroonians
Oversabi TV is an entertainment channel that cuts across areas of educating and showcasing talents of Cameroonians alongside exhibiting through advertisement of businesses, brands, languages and tourist sites of Cameroon and beyond.
Upon discussing with the client, we decided to conceive logo proposals which matches the purpose of the channel. The reality shows are of people who go on dates of various natures as one of its prominent activities.
The concept is all about the male and female world of dating. The show is aired to the audience via the YouTube channel
Building on that, we designed four proposals of logo for the channel.
The first logo is a monogram; the logo is the channel name with same modification on the different letters. The O is a play button, to remind people that they are the one controlling what they are watching, so at any moment they can press that play button and they would miss anything about the show. And the two As are representations of the genders present on the show, a woman and a man.
This logo is also a monogram but here there is no play button. However, we did a modification to the A by adding sign of male and female to represent the different genders present on the show and to tell people abstractly that the show involves both men and women.
If we take a look at the logo we can notice that the O is like a ring that passes through the two signs which expresses the fact that the show is talking about a date between a woman and a man. And the play button at the end is there to give the control to the people watching the show. It indicates that at any time they can press pause and press play when they want.
On this monogram, we decide to keep it simple and expressive. Here we wanted to present our story to people but we also wanted to be simple. As we can notice the modifications have been made only on the O. The O is a joint of the different genre signs to tell people that is all about a woman and a man hooking together.
